I apologize for not posting much frequently, I've been rather busy with finals and summer preparations! I'm off to Camp tomorrow for a month, so, sadly, not much blogging until i get back. I finished my thrift sewing, i posted the dress already, but I need to post pictures of the others, but I just finished packing almost all of my clothes into a newly painted trunk. It took a lot of effort to get it closed, and it now weighs a ton, so I'm hesitant to open it. Guess those pictures will have to wait! I do have pictures of the trunk, not too interesting, but it was fun painting it!
Graduation outfit!
My Brother's graduation, this is the romper from my thrift shopping that I made into a dress! I wore it with summery heels and a red duct tape clutch i made. I love dressing up and took this opportunity to have a little fun. The ceremony turned out to be not too boring because many people wore interesting shoes avec their gowns. However, if it had been much longer, I might have turned quite a bit antsy. Pictured here are my brother and sister, the family pictures ensued after me taking outfit pictures, but my brother didn't want to put his gown on for some reason...

Another easy-breezy outfit! these aqua coloured jeans, were a breath of fresh air from dark denim, they were so fun paired with my cut-up half shirt (it is pretty much only half of a shirt), that I practically live in. Someone kindly informed me the other day that I had some rips in my shirt, like I hadn't noticed,it was quite entertaining really.

Went thrift shopping yesterday, and picked up these finds! Levi's high rise shorts, floral overall shorts, a cheetah scarf, a floral skirt, and a patterned romper that I hope to make into a dress. The lot was less than $15! Looks like I've got some sewing to do, and with the help of my recent birthday present, a figure named Gwendolyn, that shouldn't be too hard. Check back later to see my finished products, and let me know what you think!

I just acquired this shirt dress, and I absolutely love it! I paired it with biker shorts and teal fake snakeskin sandals. Also with this adorable little purse I bring everywhere. It's so small and easy to carry around, you can also wear it as a necklace! It was my mom's in the 80s, and is so precious.
